Qiu, Liu in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province Manufacturing and Selling Fake Viagra Medicine with Counterfeit Case of Pfizer
In February, 2016, when working, our investigator found Egyptians ordered counterfeit medicine in Guangzhou. Through unremitting efforts, we learnt the counterfeit gang of producing, sales, wholesales, retails. Therefore, we reported the case to the Food and Drug Crime Investigation Division of Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau Yuexiu Branch.
From March to June, 2016, Yuexiu PSB conducted investigation on upper steam market of counterfeit through technic
detection. An extreme counterfeit of production, and net-work sales was emerged. Stores in Yuexiu, Packaging warehouses in Huangpu and factory in Baiyun and other counterfeiting den were emerged. On June, 2016, Food and Drug Investigation Division of Yuexiu PSB associated Huanghua Police Station, Dadong Police Station and other, 150 of PSB officers, conducted raid action in Defeng in Yuexiu, Hongxing Village in Baiyun, Changzhou in Huangpu. On scene, large amount of Viagra medicine and machines were found.
23 suspects were captured in this case (19 suspects were detained). More than 510 thousand pills of Viagra medicine, 56 producing machines were confiscated. 7 factory den, 9 sales den were destroyed. Amount of counterfeit medicine, material, package were seized. The involved valve of this case is about 0.18 billion RMB.
This case is the biggest manufacturing and selling counterfeit medicine case in Guangdong at present. The speed of solving case is quick, just 3 month. Involved places are villages in city, which are concealed and trading places are often changed, which lead
